Keenan Nasution's Civil Lawsuit Hasn't Been Completed, Vidi Aldiano's Father: We Leave It To The Attorney

JAKARTA - Vidi Aldiano's father, Harry Kiss, finally opened his voice after a civil case emerged between his son and two songwriters Nuansa Bening, Keenan Nasution and Budi Pekerti, at the Central Jakarta Commercial Court.

As is known, Keenan and Budi filed a civil lawsuit against Vidi's alleged copyright infringement at the Central Jakarta Commercial Court last May.

The lawsuit asked Vidi to pay compensation of Rp. 24.5 billion for using the song Nuansa Bening without permission.

Since June, when the lawsuit was in court, there was no longer any news that both parties had shared with the public, until Harry Kiss finally opened his voice and said the case was still ongoing at the Central Jakarta Commercial Court.

"That's just going on. It's still running at trial," said Harry Kiss when met in Cilandak, South Jakarta, Thursday, August 21.

Vidi Aldiano's father did not talk much about Keenan's lawsuit, which is an old friend of his son. He chose to hand over the matter so that it was handled completely by the legal team.

"There are already those who take care of it, Yakub (Hasibuan - one of Vidi's attorneys)," said Harry.

"I don't know. We just leave it to the lawyer," added Harry. The lawyer is also all of Vidi's friends. Don't pay, don't have this and that."

He hopes that Keenan and Budi's lawsuit against their child can be resolved properly. The reason is, Vidi is struggling with kidney cancer. His health can be affected if the problem does not end.

"That's what we really (take care of). Our family maintains Vidi's mental health, so that she is healthy," he concluded.
