Nyoman Paul Spills Feelings On First Album, LUAP

JAKARTA - A talented singer, Nyoman Paul finally introduced his first album which he named LUAP. This album is one of the points of his achievements as a newcomer to the music industry.

The album debut released by Universal Music Indonesia contains eight songs. Carrying the catchy pop music genre, this album presents three previously released songs in the form of singles, namely Wait What Again, Alunan Dream, and Slow.

While the other five songs are new songs that were specially released for the album LUAP, namely Now and Forever, Penjara, Luapanlah, Namanya Juga Hidup, and Memori Kita. Especially for the song Namanya Juga Hidup, Nyoman Paul collaborated uniquely by cooperating with rapper A. Nayaka.

The selection of LUAP as the title of the album has its own meaning for Paul. He hopes this album can be a means to show his identity as a musician.

"So this LUAP album apart from coming from my own name also illustrates how the overflow of my heart was wrapped in a work, namely the album. Approximately this album became my affirmation who chose to have a career as a musician in my own color," said Nyoman Paul in a written statement, May 15.

The completion of Nyoman Paul's debut album cannot be separated from the roles of several producers such as Johan Gustafsson and Josefin Glenmark Breman from The Kennel from Sweden in the song Our Memory'. Lafa Pratomo in the song Criminal', Slowen, and EApan'. S/EEEK in the song Wait What Again and Alunan Dream. As well as Krisna Trias in the song Now and Forever and His Name Is Also Life.

In writing the lyrics, Nyoman Paul also hooked up Rahman Sadli Waraiya and Clara Riva.

"Working with great musicians is definitely very fun because I have a lot of new knowledge. The people involved also don't hesitate to provide positive input, both technically about music and various other things," said Nyoman Paul.

Carrying many words and feelings, Nyoman tries to pack this album so that it is easy to hear and sing.

The songs on this album use a lot of chords that are easy to follow by friends who like to play music on the sidelines of their relaxing time. The hope is that the songs on this album can be close to the daily lives of many people and become loyal friends when the song gathers with friends because the melody is also easy to follow, "he explained.

In addition to having catchy and easy-to-following melody, the song song on the album LUAP is also equipped with strong lyrics but is wrapped in simple and honest so that it can represent the experiences of many people.

"Hopefully, hopefully this LUAP album can be my means to get acquainted with new listeners and become a means of music lovers out there to get acquainted with me. Hopefully this album will also be well received by those who are close to my previous music," said Nyoman Paul.
