Ricky Siahaan's Last Chat With Personnel Often

Wendi Putranto as manager of Seringai told the last moments that occurred backstage between Ricky Siahaan (guitar) and Arian (vocals), Sammy (bass), and Edy Khemod (drums).

As is known, Ricky Siahaan breathed his last shortly after completing a show in Tokyo, Japan on Saturday, April 19 at 21.30 local time which is the closing of the 2025 Wolves of East Asia Tour series in Taiwan and Japan.

Wendi said that the Seringai personnel had time to discuss the last show they enjoyed so much.

"The last conversation (with Ricky) that I got from Khemod and Sammy, they were very happy with the last show, because the sound was good on stage," said Wendi when met at the Sentosa Funeral Home RSPAD, Central Jakarta, Thursday, April 24 evening.

Different from the performances in Taiwan which are dominated by Indonesian diaspora audiences, said Wendi, there are actually more viewers in Tokyo who are loud music lovers from Japan.

"So after chatting for a while, at first glance, five minutes later (Ricky) suddenly collapsed," said Wendi.

Meanwhile, the death of Ricky Siahaan was a sorrow and a great loss for Seringai. They released a new single in November last year, which would actually be followed by the launch of a new work after the tour. But with the current conditions, Seringai doesn't know what they will do next.
