"But the most important thing is that we have to create a music ecosystem in Indonesia that guarantees intellectual property rights," said Supratman.

"Therefore, once again, that all stakeholders in the music ecosystem must obtain certainty, guarantees, rights attached to creation regarding intellectual property," he continued.

Meanwhile, Piyu as the General Chair of ACTION said that his party had conveyed various problems faced by songwriters in Indonesia who had not yet received their economic rights.

"We convey to the Minister, this ACTION will always fight for it, and it turns out that the Minister gave a positive response. That the government is now committed to making many changes immediately," said Piyu.

"Only as the Minister said, we are still waiting for the revision process which is currently still ongoing. Hopefully, this draft can be given immediately, and we can find out which one might be interpreted more correctly," he concluded.
