JAKARTA - GIGI guitarist, Dewa Budjana revealed the fraudulent attempts committed by irresponsible parties on behalf of himself via text message on WhatsApp.
The alleged fraud was revealed by the guitarist through his Instagram account. He shared a screenshot of a conversation between the alleged fraudsters when contacting one of his friends.
"Not my number !!" wrote Dewa Budjana, citing the caption of the upload on Thursday, January 16.
Furthermore, the 61-year-old guitarist explained the modus operandi of the alleged perpetrator when committing fraud.
Initially, said Budjana, the perpetrator offered to cooperate with potential victims. Then, he asked for some money to be transferred.
"The nominee tried to offer cooperation by asking for money, hopefully no one will transfer it yet," he continued.
