Calls Yovie Widianto An Inspirational Figure, Arsy Widianto Doesn't Want To Fall In Politics

JAKARTA - For Arsy Widianto, the figure of Yovie Widianto is not only a source of inspiration in music, but also a role model in life.

Arsy is also proud of his father's appointment as the Presidential Special Staff for Creative Economy. He believes his father is able to carry out his duties well.

"Father is a special staff, of course I am very proud, I am very happy," said Arsy, met during the AMI Awards peak night at Ciputra Artpreneur, South Jakarta on Wednesday, December 4.

What is certain is that the father is a very total person in doing something. I know very well that if the father is in any field, in any work, the father can be said to be always in detail, very systematic, and when doing something is always total. I really believe, father will give my best," he continued.

From Yovie's journey with what he has done so far, Arsy learned that a musician can also do a lot of kindness outside of music.

"I'm actually very proud and very learned, that we don't always have music, but we can also give a lot of good things too, through something else," said Arsy.

"So I'm really happy to see it. And it's also a lesson for me, that when we are in any world, in any form, we have to keep doing good things and give something good."

Asked further about his interest in following Yovie's footsteps in politics and government, Arsy admitted that he had no thoughts of leaving the world of music.

"I'm just playing music, I'm very happy, I can meet you guys, meet great friends. I'm very proud and have learned a lot," he concluded.
