Glastonbury 2025 Sells Well, Tickets For The First Stage Sold Out In 30 Minutes

JAKARTA - The sale of Glastonbury's first 2025 ticket sold out within 30 minutes. This shows the enthusiasm of the audience even though not a single line-up has been announced.

Through the official X account, the music festival which was held at Worthy Farm, Somerset, England expressed its gratitude to ticket buyers.

The tickets for Glastonbury 2025 have now been sold out. Thank you to everyone who has bought tickets and apologized to those who didn't get them, in the morning when demand was much higher than supplies," wrote the X Glastonbury Festival account, Sunday, November 17.

"Tickets that are canceled or returned will be resold in the spring of 2025," he added.

Ticket sales this time use a new model, where prospective buyers are randomly given a place in line, instead of having to refresh the waiting page when tickets go on sale.

This was done considering the spotlight on various problems in online ticket sales, including the use of dynamic prices and tickets resold by brokers.

In an effort to prevent brokers, buyers of Glastonbury tickets must register first to buy them. Tickets are sold for 373.5 (IDR 7.5 million) plus an order fee of 5 (IDR 100,017).

For last year's event, economic class tickets sold out within 25 minutes, while standard tickets were all sold out within an hour.

Previously, Emily Eavis as the festival organizer said 2026 would be an empty year for Glastonbury, so that the land could rest and recover. He has also negotiated with a number of artists who will become the main stars by 2025.
