JAKARTA - The band from Solo, Central Java, Assahlan, launched their first religious album containing 12 songs ahead of Ramadhan 1442 Hijriah.

"The lyrics offered are full of contemplation and contemplation, of course also an invitation to do good. These lyrics are very worthy to accompany people's activities in Ramadan," said Assahlan's producer, Khoirul Hadi, at the launch of the debut album titled Assahlan in Solo on Thursday.

The creator of all the songs on this album, said some of the songs he created include Puasa, Zakat, Tahajjud, Subuh, and Kembang Duka.

The man, who also works as a dermatologist, said the songs were created while he was still undergoing self-isolation due to COVID-19.

He said the test of life he underwent during the COVID-19 pandemic was able to give birth to work in the form of songs full of contemplation.

"I was infected with COVID-19 and had to undergo hospital treatment," she said.

In fact, due to a fairly severe condition he had to undergo intensive treatment in the ICU.

Nevertheless, he eventually recovered after undergoing convalecent blood plasma therapy.

"Then I continued my recovery through self-isolation, I Iantas filled my free time during isolation by writing some song lyrics. So some of these songs are the fruit of my contemplation during my isolation," he reported from Antara.

Assahlan's album is Khoirul Hadi's second work based on the experience of battling COVID-19.
