JAKARTA - TikTok Music has officially bid farewell. The music streaming service from ByteDance will close in several countries including Indonesia.
The platform, which has only been running for about a year in Indonesia, launched in 2023. TikTok Music is a substitute for a similar platform before, namely Resso which also did not last long.
A number of programs have been carried out in developing this platform, including the TikTok Music Live session which is quite stealing attention. This is a live session featuring new musicians and who already have big names for stripped or acoustic performance.
Some of the names that have joined this project include D'Masiv, Sal Priadi, Bernadya, Maliq & D'Essentials to Pamungkas. They perform their songs intimately to listeners.

The Pamungkas edition became the last live session, which was uploaded on July 3. Before officially closing on November 28, the TikTok Music application may still open after the set date. However, TikTok Music emphasizes that users will not be able to log in, access various features on the platform, until they see a subscription package.
All TikTok Music subscribers are given until October 28 to move playlists to other platforms. Users can also ask for refunds until the last day of TikTok Music availability if they subscribe via Google.
