Promotor Sets Sheila On 7 Concert In Bandung To Be Held At Si Jalak Harupat Stadium

JAKARTA - Between Suara and GOLDLive Indonesia as promoters of the Sheila On 7 'Wait for Me in Bandung' concert, finally decided that Si Jalak Harupat Stadium would become the venue used on Saturday, September 28 this weekend.

It was previously known that the Siliwangi Stadium was originally appointed as the venue for the Sheila On 7 Wait for Me in Bandung concert.

Due to the addition of the audience quota, the promoter decided to move to Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA). However, Persib Bandung as the manager rejected that the stadium was used for music performances.

Five days before the concert, Antara Suara and GOLDLive Indonesia through an Instagram upload gave an official statement and apologized for the venue that had to move.

"It is with a heavy heart that Antara Suara and GOLDLive Indonesia apologize to all Sheila Gank, the owner of the Sheila On 7 Concert ticket, "Wait for Me In Bandung," reads the promoter's official statement uploaded Monday, September 23.

"To ensure that the Sheila On 7 Wait for Me Di concert can still be anchored in Bandung as we hope together, we inform you that the location of the concert on Saturday, September 28, 2024, will be moved from the Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA) Gelora to Si Jalak Harupat Stadium".

The promoter stated that they had established intensive coordination and communication with all parties involved in the concert planning at GBLA. However, they received news that there were technical problems related to infrastructure readiness that had not been resolved until now, so that GBLA could not be used for the community on a scheduled date.

"This situation makes us have to make this difficult decision. This is not the good news you hope for and once again we apologize."

Despite the change of venues, promoters promise that changes in venues will not reduce their commitment to continue to provide the same concert experience as in previous cities.
