Kahitna Remembers Carlo Saba At The Single Concert Through The Song Won't Be Replaced

JAKARTA - Kahitna recalled one of their family members, Carlo Saba at the concert "Kahitna 2 Years Towards 40" on Tuesday, September 17. Together with the audience present at the JCC Plenary Hall, Mario Ginanjar et al presented the song "Not Replaced".

After singing their series of hit songs such as "How", "Aku, Dirimu, Dirinya", and "Sejauh Dua Benua", eight Kahitna members then performed another song in the next session.

On that occasion Kahitna sang the song "Not To Be Replaced" as a gift for their dead group mate and friend, Carlo Saba.

"We have been nine people, suddenly eight, in my opinion the one who will not be replaced is my friend who has passed away, Carlo," said Yovie Widianto, one of Kahitna's personnel, quoted from ANTARA.

"I think Carlo is a friend, soulmate, who will not be replaced, and tonight we will bring in a 'Not Replaced' song specifically for Carlo Saba," he continued.

After Yovie briefly conveyed his heart's contents, Yovie's piano started. Slowly, the voices of Mario Ginanjar and Hedi Yunus as vocalists began to gently sing the song.

"Even though the time comes, and it passes until you don't survive, everyone won't be able to touch it," a lyric from "Not being Replaced" made the concert atmosphere even more exciting.

In the middle of his singing, Mario shed tears because he remembered his memories with Carlo. He also said his heart was in Soulmate (the base of Kahitna fans) on the sidelines of his appearance.

"When Mas Carlo wasn't there, I felt that I had a lot to say, one of them was that I really loved him," he said.

He continued, "And when I didn't know 'when' it arrived, I wouldn't forget to say that I love you (said one by one the names of Kahitna personnel)".

Kahitna returned to sing the song "Takkan Teranti" until it was finished. Not only Kahitna personnel, Soulmate who were present also seemed to shed tears when the touching moment took place.

"You will not be replaced, you will not be replaced," said Mario and Hedi successfully closing the song offering to his best friend, Carlo Saba.
