Jinan Laetitia Explores House Music Through Single Renaissance Man

JAKARTA - Jinan Laetitia introduced a new single with the title 'Renaissance Man'. This is the third release this year, after 'Symbols' and Oh! All My Love' in collaboration with Sheryl Sheinafia.

Through 'Renaissance Man', Jinan wants to get out of his music comfort zone. The singers from Bogor explore the house music genre, which is the first time they have tried it.

"This song is quite unique compared to my previous songs, because this is my first home music song," said Jinan Laetitia in her statement, Tuesday, September 10.

"Aku dengan Osvaldori produserku mau membuat lagu yang berdengar house classic tapi tetap dengan gaya Jinan Laetitia sekali. I think we spoken it in this song," lanjutnya.

Jinan wrote his new song by taking inspiration from the figure of Leonardo Dawiel, a figure from the Renaissance era whom he admired.

"Renaissance Man is about a figure we really admire. We see him as a very good figure and will do whatever it takes to continue to admire and approach him," he said.

The song Renaissance Man comes with a quick beat, different from the previous Jinan songs that sounded more Edgy.

Previously, Jinan had indeed leaked that in the upcoming album he would produce more songs with a quick beat, where 'Renaissance Man' and 'Idulgency' as examples.

"If you hear in the chorus there is a really deep voice and ask who is the voice? Who is the featuring? No. That's my voice that was lowered by several octaves. If you reverse that voice with the sound effect, you will find the sound of your voice," concluded Jinan Laetitia.
