JAKARTA - Ahmad Dhani again initiated the Dewa 19 Faturing All Star concert which will be held at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Central Jakarta on January 18, 2025.

Dhani said this concert was held based on the love of Dewa 19 personnel with rock music, where collaboration with idols was their dream.

We are fans of rock music. We have a dream to play with American musicians who have been inspiring us. Luckily the American rock musicians are willing, so we collaborate with musicians from Indonesia and America," said Ahmad Dhani at a press conference in Sudirman, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, September 10.

The Dewa 19 frontman even saw the opportunity to collaborate with American rock musicians as a form of diplomacy between the two countries through culture.

"We hereby establish cooperation between Indonesia and America, which forms through rock music, (or) rock culture," said Dhani.

Meanwhile, foreign musicians who will collaborate with Dewa 19 are Eric Martin and Billy Sheehan from Mr. Big, Gary Cherone and Nuno Bettencourt from Extreme, John Waite from Bad English, Derek Sherinian, Dino Jelusick, and Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal.

Although not all of the names above come from the United States, such as Derek, Dino, and John, they have all penetrated the music market in Uncle Sam's country.

Ron Bumblefoot, who will return to appear at the Dewa 19 featuring All Star concert for the second time, also admitted that he could not wait to appear in front of Indonesian rock music lovers.

"Wow, this will be amazing, people will scream, we will eat delicious food, yes everything will be amazing. I hope the audience can enjoy their time watching our performances," said Ron.

Meanwhile, the concept that will be presented, mostly, displays the collaboration of Dewa 19 with world rock musicians who are included in the lineup.

"We are collaborating on the concept. One example is in When I See You Smile, we invite the singer directly, John Waite. So later Dewa will send John Waite to sing When I See You Smile, "said Dhani.

In the upcoming concert, Dewa 19 will also bring three singers who have been their vocalists, namely Ari Lasso, Virzha, and Ello.

This time, the 'Stadium' scale concert is expected not only to be a continuation of previous success, but also an evolution from Ahmad Dhani's vision to present world-class music performances in Indonesia.

By cooperating with rock musicians from various parts of the world, this concert is seen as making an extraordinary history from Indonesian musicians who can provide an extraordinary and unforgettable music concert experience for rock music fans in Indonesia.
