JAKARTA - After first introducing three singles, namely Consequences, Politicals, and Nina,...Feast has finally officially released a third studio album with the title Building & Destroying today, Friday, August 30.
Through a new album, the band consisting of Baskara Putra (vocals), Adnan Satyanugraha (guitar), Dicky Renanda (guitar) and Fadli Fikriawan (bass), collaborated with several well-known music producers, including Laleilmanino, Lafa Pratomo and Iga Massardi.
The three names of the above producers do not represent all the songs presented by.Feast. Of the 15 songs on the new album, they involved 12 producers with different musical characters.
"The existence of many producers makes us find a new perspective in working on this album which we really need after more than 10 years of running..Feast," said Fadli Fikriawan, who is familiarly called Awan, through a press release to VOI.
Different from the previous album material which contained socio-political issues, this time.Feast wants to be more personal with lyrics that talk about being a parent, death, hedonism, desire, and hatred for oneself.
"When we were young, our songs discussed anything macro even though it was beyond our capacity. We see it as what we want to sound. Now it's more of a micro view of what's around us and in front of our eyes," said Adnan.
One of the personal stories is in the song "Nina" produced by Vega Antares. This song is offered by Adnan to his daughter.
In addition, there is the song Arterial with Laleilmanino as producer, which talks about the adventures of the nightlife in Dicky Renanda's youth.

"This album talks about our travel story, so there's also a lot of nostalgia that happens while writing the songs," said Dicky.
If past.Feast lyrics reflect anger and disappointment with the outside world, then on the album Building & Destroying it, anger and disappointment are more aimed at themselves.
Although this album was not planned at first, Baskara cs said they were proud of the presence of their new work.
"This album is really monumental for me personally. After various problems keep hitting, it's as if we reset everything in us, including mindsets, work and friendship," said Dicky.
"Although efforts have been much tougher than before, especially when deciding to repeat almost all of the material, this album is as exciting as working on the first album and restoring a feeling that has been lost in recent years," said Awan.
