JAKARTA - Kunto Aji is one of the Indonesian musicians who is so vocal to oversee the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK) regarding the rules for this year's Regional Head Election (Pilkada).

Since the 'Emergency Warning' movement emerged on Wednesday, August 21 last week, the singers have continued to speak, both through social media and in their performances on stage.

Through his Instagram account, Kunto stated that he would not stop overseeing the Constitutional Court's decision, at least until the registration period for regional head candidates begins tomorrow, Tuesday, August 27.

"After the 27th I will be silent and stop talking about politics. We discuss love, grow and discuss life again," Kunto Aji wrote via Instagram Story, Sunday.

"But before that, allow me to speak according to my conscience and defend what I think needs to be defended. It's up to the politician to want to stab him like that, not side with them, side with the country. The Constitution is fixed," he continued.
