JAKARTA - The music video for the Gala Bunga Matahari from Sal Priadi, which was released recently, has attracted the attention of music lovers.

Not only because the song was going viral, but this music video became the acting debut for Gempita Nora Marten or familiarly called Gempi.

The choice of Gempi as a music video star has his own reasons. The decision was taken after discussions between Sal Priadi, Aco Tenriyagelli as the director, and Ajish Dibyo as the producer.

"At that time we discussed the character of the little children we all like, and Gempi appeared," said Aco Tenriyagelli at a press conference in Senayan, South Jakarta on Thursday, August 8.

In the music video, Gempi competes acting with senior actor Landung Simatupang.

The shooting was done by taking several locations in Yogyakarta.

"Her parents are very supportive, Gempi is accompanied by Gisel," said Aco.

Despite the challenges, given the age of Gempi who is not even ten years old and has never actually acted, filming is fun.

"Everything is done very fun. With Gempi whose children are fun, the burden we have and all kinds of things almost don't feel like there are challenges like that," concluded Ajish Dibyo
