Rizky Febian Doesn't Have A Success Thanks To Sule's Big Name

JAKARTA - Rizky Febian has been in a musical career for ten years. Known as the son of comedian Sule who sings, now the singer of Like a Story is able to make her own name.

Even so, Rizky Febian never felt that he had managed to escape from Sule's shadow. He believes that his current success is thanks to his father.

"Personally, I still agree that my success is nothing but thanks to my parents," said Rizky Febian in Kemang, South Jakarta, Thursday, August 1.

"Because if it wasn't from their prayers, if it wasn't the encouragement of the father in the previous entertainment world, with my father who introduced me to what kind of entertainment world, it's impossible for me to survive so far," he continued.

Reflecting on the beginning of his career in the music world, Mahalini's husband again mentioned Sule's great role in instilling the values of an artist.

"I wasn't paid before, the important thing is singing. Like I said, from cafe to cafe, or no one performed, or where did my father have any event, I went along, singing one song for mental tests," said the singer who is familiarly called Iky.

"And I like my father educating me like that, not putting money first," he added.

Furthermore, Iky also talked about how he always tried his best to repay his father's trust. He felt that his good name in the entertainment industry was a gamble in itself for the good name of his parents.

"But back again, when parents give a big forum, whether we dare to take responsibility or not, we can take risks or not. Because my current decision is very big. This is a big responsibility. I don't want to embarrass the names of parents who are already big in the entertainment world," concluded Rizky Febian.
