St. Vincent Becomes The Main Performer For The 2024 Jakarta Festival Joyland

JAKARTA - Plainsong Live as the promoter of the 2024 Joyland Festival Jakarta has announced that Annie Clark aka St. Vincent will be the main performer this year. The announcement follows other performers who have already been announced, including▁kalau Bicycle Club, Blueboy, MONO, and Real Estate.

For Ferry Dermawan as Program Director of Joyland Festival, the presence of St. Vincent, who just released the album 'All Born Screaming' last April, will make this year's event even more complete.

It doesn't stop there, the atmospheric pop duo from France, Air is also presented this year. They will bring the best works for three decades of music.

In addition, the 2024 Jakarta Joyland Festival also presents musicians and groups abroad, such as Bubble Tea and Cigarettes (United States), DYGL (Japan), Silica Gel (South Korea), and Surprise Chef (Australia).

Meanwhile, the domestic musicians and groups presented include Greenhouse Effects which will bring back repertoire from the Rimpang Concert, the Berduri Lidah Council which will hold a theatrical performance, as well as the Indies and the Magic Competition which will join as Pentas Magic to perform songs from their combined discography.

Other Indonesian performers so far include Ali, Maliq & D Essentials, The Adams, The S.I.G.I.T., BANK, and Sigmun.

This year, White Shoes & The Couples Company was entrusted with the stage curator Lily Pad who will feature new and experimental artists from Indonesia such as the Teenage Death Star and The Panturas, as well as from abroad such as The 5.6.7.8s (Japan), Park Daham (South Korea), and the collaboration of DJ Masaya Fantasista and airshed Varot (Japan).

In addition to musical performances, the 2024 Jakarta Joyland Festival will again present other programs, such as the Shrooms Garden stage with comics guided and curated by Soleh Solihun, Joyland Village which supports local food, beverage and beverage businesses, as well as the White Peacock family-friendly area curated by Lintang Sunarta.
