BOTAK Select You Only For Parts Of The Latest Project, Kotakustic

JAKARTA - KOTAK has just made MANUvers to provide novelty in presenting works. Had a project #Kolaacting with musicians across generations and across genres, KOTAK re-released their latest project, #KOTAKustik.

This is a project where the band, almost two decades old, re-releases its old songs to be packaged into acoustic versions.

You' Saja was chosen as the latest song to be composed by the acoustic version for #KOTAKustic and has been released June 28. This song was first introduced in 2014 and entered the album Never Dies. This song was composed by Mario Marcella Handika Putra, guitarist for KOTAK.

We want to reintroduce our old songs to listeners in Indonesia by packing them a little differently. Hopefully this song will be accepted by KOTAK Relatives and can also reach new listeners," said KOTAK personnel in a press release received by VOI.

Apart from 'Only You', there are three other songs that have been composed for the 'Custic City' project. The first three selected songs were 'Eternal Puppets' (2008), 'Back For You' (2008) and Someone' (2016). The three were warmly welcomed on Tiktok and also Youtube with more than hundreds of thousands of views when this news was written.

This project is expected to reap success like #Kolaberaksi where the song Action is repackaged by musicians such as Winky Wiryawan x Mahesa utara, Feel Koplo, Lomba Sihir, and also Willy Winarko. All these songs can be heard on all digital streaming platforms in Indonesia. Official visualizers can also be watched on KOTAK's official YouTube channel.
