JAKARTA - The alternative rock unit from Jakarta, Close To Breathe (CTB) successfully enlivened the music concert on the main stage of the Jakarta Fair 2024. Guntur (vocals, guitars), Doyeh (bass), and Rangga (drums) looked stunning in front of their fans.

Thousands of spectators were present to fill the main stage area to watch CTB share a place with Guyon Waton. Various excitement happened that night.

Seeing the high enthusiasm of the audience for the appearance of CTB, the happy Guntur that night, gave one of his favorite guitars to one of the audience. Without hesitation, he handed over Fender Jaguar he was wearing to a man who was in the front row.

"It was done suddenly, because of the excitement of the event and the enthusiasm of the audience that exploded. Finally, I decided to give the guitar to the audience," said Guntur.

What has been done illustrates CTB's gratitude to its loyal fans who are always present to provide support. For Guntur, there is no thought of losing money for losing the guitar. Instead, he was proud to be able to share fun with fans.

"For the sake of celebrating the event, no love. After all, it will also be useful for those who get the guitar. Maybe they can use training or performing with him," said Guntur.

Knowing what the vocalist did, Delva as the manager said he was surprised. He didn't know that Guntur was desperate to give his guitar to the audience randomly.

"All I know is that CTB only wants to distribute merch shirts. Honestly, I was also surprised when Guntur asked one of the crew to take one of the guitars to be given to the audience," said Delva.

"Guntur really likes to give a sudden surprise, which in terms of management and other players don't know anything, but always breaks up and manages to entertain the audience," he continued.

After successfully appearing entertaining at the Jakarta Fair 2024, Close To Breathe will still perform in many events in Jabodetabek. In addition, they have also prepared to launch new works.

"We will release our second album. Our second album, we are currently releasing single by single. And our target is that by the end of July we will release a new song entitled 'Direct'," concluded Guntur.
