JAKARTA - Tom Morello is known to be working on a new album for his solo project. Different from working on the band's joint album, the 60-year-old guitarist said 'purity' would be more visible in his solo album.
Reflecting on his musical journey as a band player and soloist, the Rage Against The Machine guitarist explained how different the difference was when working on the album alone and with his bandmates.
"I've done a number of solo recordings before, but I love the idea of being in a band because what you get from being in a band is chemistry," Tom Morello said during a recent interview with NME.
"Together, you create something that no one can create from you alone," Morello continued.
What you get from being a soloist is the purity and ability to create something that others cannot create.
