JAKARTA - The folk duo from Bali, Nosstress launched their sixth album titled Closer. This album contains eight songs directed by Man Angga and Guna Warma.

In the production process, Nosstress chooses a fairly simple way. Without having to be trapped by the technical production of music that is generally done in the studio, Nosstress chooses to produce songs on new albums through their own devices.

"On this new album, we decided to record all the works using only personal phones, either during recording or when taking pictures, with the application on our cellphone," said Man Angga in his statement.

Not only that, the mixing and mastering process was also carried out independently by Man Angga in a place they named the Nosstress Playing Park. Not without reason, this duo wants to do everything independently and use tools at home.

"Nine percent of the production of this album, starting from audio recordings, visuals, mixing and mastering, we are doing it independently. The rest is assisted by friends," said Man Angga.

"We want to spread the message, we can work with whatever we already have, with our own capabilities," he continued.

Although production is fairly simple, Nosstress believes that appropriate songs and lyrics will attract its own listeners, therefore there are no concerns regarding the world of music that is increasingly sophisticated. In addition, they also want to convey their work directly regardless of the technical quality of the recording.
