Learning From Senior Band, Eclat Story Wants To Have A Long Age In The Music Industry

JAKARTA - Eclat Story, a band from Jakarta consisting of Yeshua Abraham and Yosua Gunawan, had the opportunity to collaborate with Ada Band through the rearrangement of the songs 'Still' and 'Manja'.

In the production process with the band, which has been in the music industry for more than two decades, Eclat Story personnel claimed to have learned a valuable lesson to continue to survive.

According to Yeshua, many musicians in their generation have a wrong understanding. They want to quickly achieve success, get as much rupiah coffers as possible, then withdraw from the music stage.

The understanding of musicians like that, said Yeshua, makes the process of work no longer fun.

"Because we Gen Zs, young people, the reference is to quickly retire early (from music), successfully. The direction is there. We have lost fun in the process and work," said Yeshua in Ampera, South Jakarta, Wednesday, May 15.

Seeing how Ada Band has remained for 28 years, despite changing personnel several times, Eclat Story views his seniors with great respect. Moreover, Ada Band has eleven album studios and many hit songs throughout her career.

"We see these brothers still working even though they can be said to be successful. They are still working to live, have fun, still happy, that's what we learned," said Yeshua.

"We want to make music until we are old, we don't retire early. They have released eleven albums, we just have our second album for sore, what about those who are 28 years old, imagine, it's eleven albums from 28 years old," he concluded.
