One Year Of Preparation, J Prepares To Release Mini Album And Single Anyar

JAKARTA - Success as a musician who has achieved a massive existence on social media, Kaleb J is preparing to start his new era in 2024. Through a mini album entitled 'OFF GUARD', the musician RnB will present something special.

This EP is his second collection after releasing 'Melancholy' in 2021. To start this new mini album, he is ready to present the single 'Let Go' on May 15.

"Yes, I haven't made an EP release for a long time because it's the last one in 2021. In addition, there is indeed a story that I really want to share completely through this EP," said the owner of the full name Herrel Lihat Jonathaniel Sihombing.

J devoted creativity, full time and energy to echo this EP. He has needed more than a year in the process of cultivating the theme, writing songs, to the stage of music production.

Even though he is busy making mini-albums which will be released soon, I hope J doesn't stop releasing his work. Just look at the work he released in 2023 yesterday, namely Ruth Garcia's Best Road as well as a single collaboration titled All That I Need.

If traced back more and more, in 2022, my husband released a lot of works, including, To The Moon and Back which has now been listened to more than 2 million times on Spotify, single collaboration with PJ Morton via Please Don't Walk Away, his collaboration with Belanegara Abe and Rayi Putra for the single Sumthin Bout Love, to the sweet duet with Sezai through the single It's You and It's Only Me.

"In terms of the context of the story, it's still about heartbreak with a specific story theme," said the singer who won the Viral Song of the Year from the TikTok Awards Indonesia in 2022.

"But there are also many differences ranging from the perspective of music, sound selection, music arrangements, to song-writing styles that have developed from before, with a note without forgetting the main core of a J employee," he said.
