JAKARTA - Indonesian post-hardcore music lovers seem to have held back their longing to witness Alesana's performance in Indonesia. The band from North Carolina, United States announced the cancellation of her visit to Jakarta this year.
Meanwhile, Alesana is one of the line-ups for the 2024 Hammersonic Festival which will be held at Carnaval Beach Ancol, North Jakarta on May 4 and 5.
Through an upload on their Instagram account, Alesana stated that they were canceled to appear at the event which was promoted by Ravel Entertainment.
"Due to unexpected circumstances, Alesana will not appear at the Hammersonic Festival this year," Alesana said in an Instagram post, Wednesday, April 24.
Alesana apologized for the cancellation. In fact, Hammersonic is just counting the days to be held.
At the same time, Alesana also announced their plans to hold a tour in the Southeast Asia region next year. Although the name Jakarta was not mentioned, they stated that they would meet fans later
"We apologize for any mess and plan to tour Southeast Asia early next year," Alesana said.
