JAKARTA - Since the soaring series of Dilan films, Iqbaal Ramadhan has become increasingly known as a capable actor. But actually, he never really got out of the world of music.

Musical Laskar Pelangi started Iqbaal's career in singing. From there he met his colleagues who became the forerunners of Coboy Junior.

Their appearance became a new phenomenon in the busy season of boybands in the country. Had changed its name to CJR, Iqbaal's journey with Kiki and Aldi ended after six years.

Iqbaal focuses on his education abroad, although there he is also occasionally playing music. He even formed The Second Breaktime in 2016 before turning to Svmmerdose in 2019.

Iqbaal's exploration in the music world has never found a comfortable home. In early January 2022 he announced his resignation from Svmmerdose which carries the indie genre and alternative pop.

Even when three of his former colleagues at CJR made a comeback in TBA, Iqbaal was not interested in joining. In fact, in 2024 he announced a solo project with moniker▁memujile.

He has even created a new account for his latest musical journey. The account has been followed by 69 thousand followers who enthusiastically welcomed his debut.

I don't know the real reason Iqbaal is reluctant to stay long with his various music projects. However, things like this are common in the music world, where one of the influence figures leaves the group, and leaves a void that may never be replaced.
