Ramadan Jazz Festival 2024 Donate All Ticket Sales For Palestine

JAKARTA - The Ramadan Jazz Festival was held again for the 13th time at the Cut Meutia Mosque, Menteng, Central Jakarta for two nights, 29 and 30 March.

This event presents nine performers who appear in the theme Harmoni Cinta Negeri. They are Dwiki Dharmawan ft. Iwan Abdie & Fakhri Violin, Maliq & D'Escentials, Salma salsabil, Marcell Siahaan, Nadhif Basalamah, The Groove ft. Tiara Effendy, Bilal Indrajaya, Ecoutez, andatur Alfandy.

Similar to the previous years, Agus Setiawan Basuni as the initiator of the Ramadhan Jazz Festival said that all ticket sales would be donated.

"As in previous years, we used the donation system, and we will donate 100 percent of the money collected. This year we will give the donation to our brothers and sisters who are receiving a tough test in Palestine," said Agus Setiawan Basuni during a press conference at the Cut Meutia Mosque, Thursday, March 28.

There are three ticket categories sold, namely Rafah (March 29) and Gaza (March 30) at a price of Rp. 99,000, and Deir Al Balah (March 29 and 30) at a price of Rp. 195,000. All tickets can be owned by visiting the rjf13.com page.

Furthermore, Iwan Abdie as one of the performers to see what Ramadan Jazz Festival has done so far has shown that music can also be a tool for doing good. He hopes that this event will have a wider impact on the public.

"Masha Allah, it turns out that this unusual thing has a good impact. And hopefully this can have a more impact in the future. Actually, this is one of my hopes, an artist not only moves in the arts friendly, but also in the religious realm," said Iwan Abdie.

"Hopefully this Ramadan Jazz Festival can have a wider influence, not only in the religious environment, but for even wider young people," he concluded.
