Disposal Of Time To Be Nidji's Offering In The 22 Years Of Work Celebration

JAKARTA - Nidji released a single entitled Waste of Time in early February. This song became special, because it became an offering in celebration of 22 years of their career in the music world.

More specifically, Waste of Time was written by Guruh Soekarno Putra, the maestro who has written many hit songs for many well-known singers and musicians.

Randy (keyboard, synthesizer) said that Nidji's journey, which has been going through for more than two decades, has been passed with many things. He said communication between personnel was the key to the band's existence to date.

"If we, anything, can be communicated. And the more we come here, the more we know how to deliver it," said Randy during a press conference in Kemang, South Jakarta, Thursday, February 22.

Through this single, Nidji also wants to show his commitment to musical adventures, and not forget to thank Nidjiholic for their strong support, their fan base.

The band hopes to maintain their presence and provide the best quality music and can be accepted by audiences from various circles and ages.

Furthermore, Nidji also talked about the band's journey that had to change vocalists, from Giring and now to Ubay. Although the new vocalist has joined since 2019, Nidji is ready to go through the process to be loved again by many people.

"Just like roller knowledge, sometimes at the top and sometimes at the bottom. It's actually the most exciting when at the bottom, to stay alive and enjoy until finally it can go up again. That's the most challenging thing," said Rama (guitar).

"We both know that the things that made the most messy during the change of vocalists, and thank God with Ubay here, we are slowly in the process. The new Nidji from 2019 is in process until this moment, and has released a new single and headed for the album this year," he concluded.
