Abdee Slank Hopes Elected Leaders Don't Enter The KKN Snare

JAKARTA - Guitarist Slank, Abdi Negara Nurdin or Abdee Slank hopes that the elected leader will not be caught in the snares of corruption, collusion and Nepotism (KKN) which is the toughest test for a country. "The test of a country is the hardest if it is involved in corruption, collusion, Nepotism (KKN), many countries can fail to become developed countries if their governments are included in the KKN snares," Abdee said as quoted by Antara, Thursday.

Even though he is sick, Abdee still chooses not to become a white group (golput) and has high hopes for future governments. For him, the era of President Joko Widodo's administration has provided a good foundation to be continued by the next leader so that Indonesia's development will progress and be seen by the eyes of the world.

He also believes that if the next elected leader has the same vision and mission, Indonesia can become a developed country that the world recognizes in the next 15 years. "Nakhoda must be a person who really knows how to bring us to a developed country, people who have a good track record are proven to be working and most importantly we are looking for a leader who has a vision in the future," said Abdee. Meanwhile, Abdee was confused when he saw the voting papers for legislative candidates for the DPR RI, DPD and DRPD who have many candidate candidates.

Namun ia mengaku telah mencari latar belakang beberapa kandidat agar bisa mengenal visi misinya, yang juga ia sebut sebagai salah satu tanggung jawab dirinya sebagai masyarakat yang akan memilih calon wakil rakyat agar tidak asal."Kalau asal pilih kita jadi memilih orang yang mungkin bukan yang terbaik. Kalau sebagai warga mencari orang yang terbaik untuk menjadi wakil kita," katanya.
