JAKARTA - Franki Indrasmoro teamed up with duo Reyen Karamoy and Stella Gareth from Scaller to work on his first single as a soloist.

There are two reasons why Franki is willing to work with Scaller and even he is willing to be produced by two musicians who incidentally are much younger.

"First, because I love them. And their production music is really good," said Franki Indrasmoro when contacted by VOI recently.

Another reason why Franki chose Reyen and Stella as producers is the hope that the song is more relevant to today's music listeners. He didn't want the song to be enjoyed by Naif listeners, the band before.

"Second, because they are young people," said the former Naif drummer.

So for this Franki Indrasmoro project, I will need a lot of help and a touch of young people, so that I can relate to Gen Z as well as listeners.

The debut single, which is planned to be released on February 23, is a song composed by Franki Indrasmoro himself, which was previously released by Naif.

"Actually, it has been released, but the release is still on a small scale, and it's not on Spotify. Well, that's for sure from the notation, the Naif style still exists," he said.

Cooperation with other musicians is not only in the first single. For the second single, which is currently entering the workshop stage, Franki Indrasmoro will collaborate with The Fly.
