JAKARTA - Pamungkas gave surprising news after announcing he joined one of the rock bands, The Krankers.

Despite being known as one of the best male soloists in the national music industry in recent years, Pamungkas decided to become a drummer for The Krankers. He called it a new journey starting in 2024.

"I am proud and happy to announce that I have officially joined Thr Krankers as a drummer," Pamungkas said in an Instagram post, seen Tuesday, January 17.

"In 2024 I started my own story by joining the rock and roll band," he continued.

Pamungkas said The Krankers were working on several songs for the new album to be released.

Even so, Pamungkas is also still working on a new album for his solo project. The 30-year-old musician promised many new works to be born this year.

That way, currently The Krankers come with the formation of Noor Kamil (vocals), Arya Novanda (vocals, guitars), Febriansyah Nurachman (bass), and Pamungkas (drums).

Previously, Pamungkas had also been in a band. He debuted as guitarist for Potenzio who debuted in 2010.

Together with Potenzio, Pamungkas released one album and three singles.

After Potenzio was declared disbanded in 2016, Pamungkas chose a solo career with his debut album titled Walk The Talk in 2018.
