Irfan And Denny Chasmala Form The Chasmala, Release Of Idaman Men As Single Debuts

JAKARTA - Brothers Irfan Chasmala (keyboards) and Denny Chasmala (guitar) formed a group called The Chasmala. They invited Pieter Anroputra to fill the vocal position.

Irfan Chasmala said that his group this time was his first music project with his younger brother, who is usually called Denchas.

"This is my first group and Denny. Previously we had never really been on a project together," said Irfan Chasmala when met in Cipete, South Jakarta, Monday, November 28.

Meanwhile, The Chasmala began during the pandemic. At that time, Irfan made a music project to just entertain via social media. At that time, he was working with Pieter.

After the pandemic was over, Irfan and Pieter decided to perform a new song.

Feeling the need for a touch of the guitar in his song, Irfan asked Denchas to join. Finally, The Chasmala was formed.

"When I was looking for a guitarist, I thought why not just invite Denny," said Irfan Chasmala.

Recently, The Chasmala released a song called Pria Idaman as their debut single. The song tells the story of a man who has been hurt by his partner many times but still always loves him.

Denny Chasmala said his first project with his brother was a serious music project. They have even prepared several other songs that are ready to be released.

"For the album, we already have material. But maybe we will release it as a single. Maybe we will release it one by one every three months," said Denchas.
