The Story Of Ramengvrl Who Failed To Appear At The 2023 Greenlane Festival

JAKARTA - The cancellation of the 2023 Greenlane Festival on the day of the event, last Sunday, November 5, was in the spotlight of the Indonesian music world.

The reason is, the event was canceled when the audience and performers had arrived in Laswi Heritage, Bandung.

The cancellation was exacerbated by the confession of Bagus R Setiaji as the organizer, who stated that he used money from investors to focus and pay debts.

Responding to this, Ramengvrl as one of the musicians who was supposed to perform, shared his experience at that time.

The 32-year-old rapper admitted that he was contacted by Bagus about four months ago. He was asked to appear at the 2023 Greenlane Festival.

Had felt that communication was not good, finally Ramengvrl made sure to appear on November 5.

He said what the organizers did to the performers went well before the day of the event.

"Communication is that we feel a bit less good, so we think this is what it is, but it turns out that they are real," said Ramengvrl in Kemayoran, North Jakarta on Wednesday, November 8.

"For me, they carry out their obligations, starting from payment until we are brought to Bandung. Everything is okay, from hospitality, riders, payment. Okay, everyone. Only the H-1 and D day are not finished," he continued.

Ramengvrl regretted what the organizers did to the audience. However, as a performer, he did not want to bother with the cancellation of his appearance

"If it's not good for me, it's just me and my parents, we'll just be fun and positive. Things like this are happening. But if we're just angry, we're just brandishing the internet, what are we doing, what's it for?" said Ramrngvrl.

"You know what? We've been in Bandung and the event was canceled, sorry for those who want to watch it, so we've made an impromptu party for free," he said.
