The Peak Night Of The 2023 AMI Awards Will Be Held With A New Concept

JAKARTA - The highlight of the 2023 Indonesian Music Awards (AMI Awards) with the theme Celebrating Differences, will be held at the JiExpo Convention Center, Jakarta, on Wednesday, November 8.

Different from previous years, the peak night of the 2023 AMI Awards not only displays the ceremonial moments of the winner's announcement, but also quality music performances.

In collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) and New Life Entertainment, the peak night of the 2023 AMI Awards will be filled with 12 appearances on a magnificent stage. The collaboration of Indonesian musicians is something to look forward to.

Dino Hamid as CEO & Founder of New Life Entertainment who is trusted to take care of concepts and all shows say, being involved in the AMI Awards is a dream come true.

"Actually, this is my prayer from afar. I always really want to hold the AMI Awards. Honestly, I only have the prestige to ask for it," said Dino Hamid during a press conference in Senayan, Central Jakarta on Thursday, October 26.

"My goal is to make this event so that it is more appreciated for Indonesian musicians and their work. Not just coming, getting trophies, then going home," he continued.

Dino Hamid said there are new things to be presented. He hopes that what is prepared can become a new culture in organizing the AMI Awards peak night.

"So, there will be a new culture, hopefully it can be accepted. There will be two rounds of 12 shows. We divide the two rounds, there is a 15-minute rest. Hopefully, no one will leave every round. Because of that appreciation, when the musician works and the audience appreciates it," he said.

Ahmad Mahendra, Director of Film, Music and Media of the Ministry of Education and Culture said that support for the AMI Awards is a form of concern for their services and role for the development and progress of the music industry in Indonesia.

"AMI Awards are expected to be a motivation for national musicians to be able to create even better works later," said Ahmad Mahendra.

"Kemendikbudristek respects the enthusiasm and inspiration of Indonesian musicians who always produce their quality works. The ideas and creativity thoughts of the Indonesian musicians add to the national art realm that will be remembered in the history of Indonesian music," he continued.

Meanwhile, Candra Darusman as the General Chair of the AMI Foundation expressed his gratitude to the various parties involved in giving awards to Indonesian music personnel.

"The peak night of the AMI Awards, let's together support and collaborate on our efforts over the past year in the Indonesian music industry. Thank you to all musicians and stakeholders who are willing to provide support," concluded Candra Darusman.
