JAKARTA - pop singer and music producer Charlie Puth returned to greet the public and fans of his works in Indonesia in a series of Asian tours titled The Charlie Live Experience at Ancol Beach City International Stadium, Sunday, October 8. "How are you, Jakarta? It feels good to be back here. It's been a long time, about five years since I greeted you," said Charlie Puth as quoted by Antara. Charlie Puth held the first concert in Indonesia in the series of Voicenotes Tour at ICE BSD City, South Tangerang in 2018. Up on stage at 19.40 WIB, the singer who won 4 Grammy nominations opened a slick and energetic appearance through the song Charlie Be Quiet! which was followed by two other songs, namely No More Drama and Attention. Appearing in a white shirtless shirt and orange shirt pants, the singer whose full name is Charles Otto Puth Jr. couldn't hide the joy of being greeted with such a warm welcome from thousands of spectators who packed the Ancol Beach City International Stadium. "I really like being able to have fun with all of you. Are you okay everyone? Nobody feels sorry, right? Thank you to those of you who took the time to come here this Sunday night, even though I knew there was a traffic jam out there," Charlie joked to the boisterous applause from the audience. That night, the soloist who was born in New Jersey on December 2, 1991, sang a series of flagship songs such as Left and Right, Boy, Loser, Dangerous, and Done For Meyang inviting the audience's mass karaoke. Even so, it's still the song We Don't Talk Anymore that gains the most votes until the middle of the concert. "Do you like romantic songs, huh? Really? OK, let's sing with this song," Charlie said before starting intro We Don't Talk Anymore. At the concert that night, Charlie not only presented a series of hits and showed a prime character, especially voice control which was so maintained when he reached high notes. But also the skill of playing the piano, synthesizer, and keytar. "How many more songs do you ask for? Two? Three? Wow, five? All right, let's try singing one song first, the song is like this," Charlie explained while playing a wooden framed piano starting the song One Call Away which received the most lively reception among other songs. Without waiting for Charlie's signal, almost all the audience who packed the Ancol Beach City International Stadium that night sang a verse for the sake of the verse for the song One Call Away which was released in 2016 from the album Nine Track Mind and played a big role in skyrocketing the singer's name. Charlie Puth and the band finally completely resigned from the stage after appearing confidently for more than 80 minutes. The singer from the United States also ended the action with the band accompanying him through two final songs, namely See You Again and Reprise, which closed the concert that night with lighting and plenary sound procedures wrapped in colorful confetti eruptions.
