Richard Marx Asks Spectators To Sing This I Promise You At A Concert In Jakarta

Richard Marx invites the audience to sing This I Promise You (Ivan Two Men/VOI)

JAKARTA - Richard Marx appeared at a concert titled The Songwriter Tour which was held at The Kasablanka Hall, South Jakarta on Thursday, October 5 evening.

This concert is the fourth time Richard Marx has appeared in Indonesia. The singer and songwriter from the United States appeared in front of thousands of listeners with the band accompaniment.

By playing the guitar, Richard Marx opened his appearance by performing Believe In Me, Take This Heart, and Endless Summer Nights.

In almost every part of the song, thousands of viewers attended to sing with Richard Marx.

"I'm just here to sing a song that can make you have fun and sing together. We'll sing an old song. What if I sing a song from 1990. This is Angelia," said Richard Marx.

Penonton pun terdengar sangat keras ketika Richard Marx membawakan This I Promise You, lagu yang diciptakannya, dan menjadi hit bagi NSYNC dari album No Strings Attached (2000).

Seeing an enthusiastic audience singing together, Richard Marx came off stage and asked a woman to sing the refrain of the song This I Promise You.

In addition to the songs mentioned above, Richard Marx also performed hits he had released, such as Now And Forever, Hazard and Right Here Waiting.

A total of 17 songs were sung by Richard Marx in his concert this time. He performed about 90 minutes without a single guest performer.
