JAKARTA - Taylor Swift shared a teaser video related to the upcoming 1989 re-recording of the album.

The songwriters last month confirmed that 1989 (Taylor's Version) will be released on October 27, 2023.

The date was chosen because it is the ninth birthday of its original album released in 2014.

At the time, Swift revealed that the album would contain five 'crazy' songs From The Vault dating back to 1989.

On the evening of September 19, the pop star via social media posted a cryptic animation showing the silver safe open.

The video clip appears to contain the letters 'T', 'S', 'U' and 'L' which fall one by one from the safe. We also see thelah bird appearing on the 1989 re-recorded edition of the cover artwork.

"You can tell me when the *search* is done... is it worth the pain," Swift captioned the mute video, referring to the lyrics of the song Blank Space. Check out the post below.

Swifties quickly shared her theory about the meaning of the teaser, and they provided two possible answers to the anagram: Lust or Slut.

The latter, as written by Rolling Stone magazine, may indicate a forthcoming collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter.

The song Carpenter in 2022, Because I Liked A Boy, features the lyrics: "Now I'm a home-wrecker, I'm a smear".

In addition, there are allegations that the song bears similarities to the song Blank Space mentioned above, in which Swift sings about having a "length list of ex-lovers".

Carpenter has also been the opener for Swift recently at the Eras Tour' concert in Mexico. What's more, Carpenter is rumored to be a mysterious teaser From The Vault on Instagram.

According to Pop Base, Swift will reveal the title of the song From The Vault in 1989 (Taylor's Version) after 33 million puzzles were resolved on new Google puzzles.
