Kasih Sambora, "There Is A Request" For Him To Return To Bon Jovi

JAKARTA - While appearing on "Shred With Shifty", the podcast hosted by Chris Shiplett from Foo Fighters, Richie Sambora was again asked about the possibility of a reunion with Bon Jovi.

"We're talking about it," Richie replied.

Pressured about what it's like to 'talk about' and whether it involved him and Jon Bon Jovi talking to each other 'on the phone', Richie said: 'Yeah, that's him. There's a request out there for that, you know especially outside America."

Last June, Richie described a different picture when he was asked about his possible return to Bon Jovi at the 52nd Anniversary and Anniversary of Songwriters Hall Of Fame in New York City.

Asked by the United Stations Radio Networks if there are still plans for him to play with his former bandmate again, said Richie.

"No, not even close. No one has asked me yet - but I can do it tomorrow if they ask me."

oo's comments on "Shred With Shifty" are similar to the one he made in February when he told Absolute Radio that he plans to rejoin Bon Jovi after his joint appearance at the induction of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2018.

"We were talking about it," he said at the time. "I don't think there's any reason not to do it right now."

He added: "Jon is having trouble with his voice and he needs to rest."

"I don't know when Jon will speak up and [Bon Jovi's reunion] will happen, but we have to go out and do it for the fans, really. I feel a second obligation."

Asked if he would write new music with Bon Jovi, Richie said: "Oh, if he wouldn't allow me, he would be crazy. I cried."
