JAKARTA - The organizers of the Music Works Festival in Japan took legal action after DJ Soda was allegedly sexually harassed on stage.
A criminal complaint to the police against three people over the alleged sexual assault on a South Korean DJ has been filed by TryHard Japan, The Japan Times reported.
It came after DJ Soda took to Instagram last week (August 14) to raise concerns about the alleged incident that occurred at the festival as he approached the audience towards the end of the event.
"I was so shocked and scared that my hands were still shaking. In order to communicate closer to fans, I always get closer to fans at the end of the gig," he wrote, starting.
"At that time, not only one but also some people suddenly touched my chest and I was sexually harassed by them," DJ Soda continued.
"I was very surprised and scared, but there were fans who liked me and also many who cried, so I tried my best to finish it calmly. Now I'm back at the hotel but I'm still very scared, and I've never experienced anything like this in my 10 years as a DJ. "

Following the alleged incident, Japan's TryHard festival organizer released an official statement. "I am very disappointed that such an incident occurred on the 10th anniversary of our holding the Music Circuit," said Japan's TryHard founder and CEO, Rakuyo Othik, quoted from NME.
Our main priority in carrying out this event is to protect the safety of artists and spectators. In this incident, crime is a crime and if we don't take appropriate action, the same thing can continue to happen at other events.
