JAKARTA - Summer Lime Fest 2023 comes for the first time with a unique concept that combines rock music performances with a summer atmosphere on the beach.

This festival will be held at Sunset Beach Ancol, Jakarta, on September 16. Eleven performers dominated by local bands will present several different genres and musical styles.

"We made a concept of a music festival on the beach, where we can watch music while enjoying sunsets. Maybe people will cry this is a DJ event, but it turns out that this contains rock bands," said Jodie Octora as Creative Director of Summer Lime Fest 2023 during a press conference at Blok M, South Jakarta on Monday, August 7.

Meanwhile, several Indonesian bands will be presented including Paper Gangsters, Summerlane, Stereowall, Bonga Bonga, Rocket Rockers, Saint Loci, NTRL, and Seringai.

Frans Silalahi as CEO of 2011 Media, the promoter who organized the festival, said that the performances of the rock bands would be equipped with karaoke from Lawless.

In addition, the punk hardcore band from the United States, Integrity will also act as one of the international performers. Not only that, 2011 Media is also still working on other foreign performers who are expected to join the line-up this year.

"A little bit of information, hopefully the international line-up is not just Integrity. We've talked to the Australian band, but we can't open it yet. Their genre should be liked by young people now," said Frans Silalahi.

Summer Lime Fest 2023 is expected to provide a different experience for those who love rock music. The open spot on the beach is the difference between this festival and other festivals.
