JAKARTA - Trivium frontman Matt Heafy had to perform double duty as security at a recent concert in Dallas, Texas.

While appearing in Dallas earlier last week, Trivium bassist Paolo Gregoletto warned spectators that crowdsurfing fans were on the verge of injury after security failed to ensure audience safety properly.

Heafy, who filmed and broadcasted all the Trivium shows live, took to Twitter after the concert was over to reveal he had to jump off stage in the middle of a show to catch fans so they wouldn't fall.

In the clip posted online, Heafy was seen throwing his guitar and catching the fan on time.

"Never say we don't love our fans. The absence of security in that place was a man almost broke his neck and I had to jump down and catch him," Heafy wrote on Twitter.

He then added that a similar incident occurred again at the event.

Don't ever say we don't love our fans Attend security in that spot - badminton is almost broken his neck - and I had to jump down and okay him!

Gregoletto then said through the microphone, "Hey security, you guys have to cross and don't gather in the middle. Our vocalists won't jump off stage to get people's attention tonight."
