JAKARTA - Former rock band vocalist Dewa19 Ari Lasso revealed the amount of performing honorarium when he started his career in the entertainment industry when the band was still using the name D.E.W.A.

"The first time I performed was with D.E.W.A.A., I happened to be the chairman of the event committee on campus. That was the first time the band was launched. I sang three songs, paid for boxed rice and mineral water, that was around 1991," said Ari Lasso during a media conference session "Conser 3 Decades of Love Ari Lasso", Monday, quoting Antara.

Ari Lasso said that the momentum of the first gig occurred at the closing ceremony of the arrangement on his campus.

"After that, we played in Lorong Music, at that time we were still using the name D.E.W.A. AND didn't even get paid," said Ari Lasso with a laugh.

He then recalled that the momentum of DEWA's first stage was paid in Solo in November 1992 with a total honorarium of no more than 300 thousand rupiah per person.

"The first stage with DEWA in the city of Solo in November 1992. The payment is Rp. 225 thousand," said Lasso.

Ari Lasso left DEWA 19 of 1999-2000, at that time the honorarium per personnel reached Rp1,350,000. And sometimes Rp2,250,000.

"If (paid) now, don't, okay," said Lasso, who is famous for having fun.

The singer whose full name is Ari Bernardus Lasso will hold the single concert "Conser 3 Decades of Love Journey Ari Lasso" at the UMS Solo (June 10), Westin Grand Ballroom Surabaya (17 June), Graha Cakrawala Malang (24 June), and Tennis Indoor Senayan Jakarta (8 July).
