Navicula Grunge Team Enters Line Up JogjaROCKarta 2020

JAKARTA - The city of Gudeg's proud rock and metal music festival, JogjaROCKarta, has added a local performer to their line-up. In its fourth edition, the event which will be held on March 1, 2020 at the Kridosono Stadium, Yogyakarta will feature Navicula.

Rajawali Indonesia as the promoter revealed the plan of the grunge hero from Bali on his Instagram account @jogjarockartafestival on Wednesday, February 5 evening.

"@naviculamusic, this band from the Island of the Gods who is also famous for its grunge music is ready to visit the Jogjarockarta festival 2020, Jon!" wrote Rajawali Indonesia.

The band manned by Robi (vocals, guitar), Dankie (guitar), Adi Purba (bass), and Palel Atmoko (drums) will share the stage with three other Indonesian loud music units that have been announced in advance. They are the sons of the Death Vomit (death metal) area, a rock legend from Jakarta God Bless, as well as the proud rock and roll and blues rock unit of Semarang Powerslaves.

As is well known to both rock and metal audiences, promoters have appointed two veteran bands Whitesnake and Scorpions as headliners of this event. These two legends will present a line of hits that are very familiar to fans. David Coverdale et al will present Is This Love, Here I Go Again, to The Deeper The Love. Meanwhile, Scorpions will present Send Me An Angel, Still Loving You to Rock You Like A Hurricane.

Meanwhile Navicula, of course, will share fan favorites such as Mafia Hukum, Metropolutan, and I'm Not a Machine, as well as other songs. So, prepare your stamina when you arrive at the Kridosono Stadium early next month.

The day before the announcement about Navicula, Jogjarockarta also revealed the price of the Early Entry Promo ticket which was sold in limited quantities. VIP is priced at IDR 1.2 million, FEST A (IDR 750 thousand) and FEST B (IDR 450 thousand). See below:

JogjaROCKarta: International Rock Music Festival, thus the full name of this event, is the fourth year held by Rajawali Indonesia Communication. On its debut implementation in 2017, JogjaROCKarta successfully won the world progressive metal giant Dream Theater as the headliner in two days of its implementation.

Since 2018, JogjaROCKarta has only been held for one day. This time it featured thrash metal giant Megadeth who was supported by many of the top national bands including God Bless and Edane.

Last year, JogjaROCKarta featured the funk rock band Extreme and the thrash metal band Power Trip as the main performers. And in this edition, JogjaROCKarta is back with Whitesnake and Scorpions.
