Protes.Feast, Partai Nasdem Remove Video Anies Baswedan With The Song Lawsuit Rakyat Semesta

JAKARTA - The band.Feast expressed rejection of the National Democratic Party (NasDem) after uploading a video using their song, the Lawsuit of the People of the Universe.

In his tweet,...Feast admitted that he did not receive any notification from the party. It is known that this video was used as a background for Anies Baswedan's speech which became the party's promotional material.

This video shows Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate promoted by the NasDem Party. Anies also said, Wis wayahe melu politik which means the time to get involved in politics.

"We have never allowed our songs to be used for political purposes at all," wrote Amazon via Twitter account @listentofeast on Wednesday, October 19.

"We want the material to be lowered as soon as possible and immediately taken care of for material compensation, due to violations of moral rights as well as the economic rights of our song @NasDem," he said in a statement.

.Feast also replied to Anies Baswedan's speech by writing, Wis wayahe if you want to use the permission song first @NasDem.

The NasDem Party also lowered the content after writing an apology for using the song.Feast without permission.

"We apologize, for using the sound material without permission first. We will submit the content," tweeted the NasDem Party account.

"Yes. Just compensation, don't forget," replied.Feast.

The People's Lawsuit is one of the singles from the mini album Abdi Lara Insani belonging to.Feast which was released last April. This album is the story of a fictional character named Ali who is trying to overthrow the government.

"The lyrics are a scene depiction of the story in the upcoming mini album, to be precise about Ali's efforts (main character) and his comrades in arms to overthrow the ranks of the government with the support (almost) full of the people," said Baskara Putra, vocalist of.Feast.
