Waiting For Lamb Of God First Album Without Chris Adler

JAKARTA - Metal troop from Richmond, Virginia Lamb Of God shared teasing videos about their new album. The video features footage of the band in the studio and ends with the Lamb Of God logo along with the number '2020'.

The new album Lamb Of God will be a follow-up to VII: Sturm Und Drang which was released in 2015. Since then, the band has released the EP (mini album) The Duke in 2016 as well as an album containing the songs of other bands which were recycled by Legion: XX. under their original name Burn The Priest, in 2018.

Last July, Lamb Of God officially parted ways with drummer Chris Adler. His replacement is Art Cruz - previously played with Prong and Winds Of Plague - who has been in charge for Adler on several Lamb Of God tours.

When Adler's absence from the 2018 summer tour was first announced, he released a statement saying he had undergone physical therapy and efforts to heal the injuries he sustained in a motorcycle accident in late 2017.

Adler had a motorbike accident that destroyed his collarbone, right shoulder and hipbone. As a result, he was put in a very rigorous series of physical therapy.

In 2018, Adler met the talent management agency Kintsugi Management. Last October he returned to the stage as the drummer for the band Hail !, a supergroup featuring former members of Megadeth, Machine Head, Exodus, and Violence.

Meanwhile Art in January last year told American Musical Supply about what it was like to make the transition between playing his own drum part and reproducing someone else's material.

"Chris is a friend of mine, so to replace him when he's playing the drums, it's difficult, because this is my favorite band - it's my dream to be beside them. But of course there are challenges, because these are big shoes to fill. But I had fun with him, the band had fun with him, and it was incredible - it was phenomenal, "said Art.

He went on to say he didn't need to change his style of play to accommodate Lamb of God music.

"I've known this band, like I said, from day one, so they inspired me from the start," he said. "So I don't have to change too much. I think I should focus a little more. Especially when there are, like, fifty thousand people staring at you."

Cruz made his live debut with Lamb Of God in July 2018 in Gilford, New Hampshire.
