Triumph Introduces New Offroad Champion, TF 250-C & TF 450-C

JAKARTA - The Triumph Motorcycles are getting serious about working on the offroad motorcycle segment. The British manufacturer has just launched two of its newest cross-country motorcycles, the TF 250-C Triumph and TF 450-C, which are specifically designed for endurance racing.

These two motorbikes are not just motocross models that are equipped with larger fuel tanks. Both are built from scratch with the aim of combining the durability, control, and sharpness of performance that has been proven from the Triumph motocross line.

For driving excitement, these two motorbikes are equipped with features designed for long format racing. Call it an 8.3 liter fuel tank, advanced electronic system, and chassis geometry tailored to unique needs in the crossed-country field.

"Our motocross and enduro models have made a breakthrough in the global racing scene, gaining podiums and praise in their debut season. With TF 250-C and TF 450-C, we are bringing that competitive advantage to the world of cross-countries for racers in the US, Canada, France and New Zealand," said Chief Commercial Officer Triumph Motorcycles Paul Stroud, in the manufacturing media room, Thursday, September 11.

Triumph TF 250-C: Agile In Technical Medan

If it requires precision and agility, TF 250-C is the answer. The motorbike, which is priced at IDR 159.7 million, is equipped with a single-cylindrical 250cc four-table engine that is very powerful, yielding 46.67 dk at 13,250 rpm and a 28.3 Nm torque at 9,250 rpm. The resulting power is claimed to be very responsive to the crossover of the technical path and rapid transition.

TF 450-C Triumph: Strength For Long Racing

Priced at IDR 176 million, this bike is intended for racing which requires great stamina and strength, TF 450-C is the main choice. Its single four-stroke 450cc engine spews 61.6 dk at 9,500 rpm and 49.9 Nm torque at 7,000 rpm. With a wider torque character and power in a strong top lap, it is ready to dominate steep inclines and high-speed straight tracks.

Top Class Features & Components

These two motorbikes are equipped with various premium components for maximum performance:

Machines: Piston aluminum tempa, titanium DelWest valve, and Diamond-like Carbon (DLC) layers to reduce friction and increase resilience.

Sasis: The unique aluminum ratch, which is light but powerful, is specially designed to provide optimal balance and control in the crossed-country field.

Suspension: Using the well-known KYB AOS (Air-Oil Separation) system, promises consistent distancing and precision handling.

The braking: A hydraulic Kaliper Brembo and a Galfer disc for strong and accurate stopping power.

Roller: The DID DirtStar 7000-series aluminum rim wrapped in the AT82 Dunlop Geomax tires, offers extraordinary grip and resilience in various terrains.

Electronics: Equipped with dual engines (dual engine maps), transaction control, launch assist, and quick-shifter for uncoupled gear movement. These features provide more control and confidence for racers.

In addition, both of them are also equipped with other racing features such as the ProTaper Evo MX Alloy handleguard, enduro fuel tank, and 8.3 liter semi-transparent fuel tank. With all these features, the TF 250-C Triumph and TF 450-C are ready to compete at the highest level of off-road racing.
