Yamaha Nmax Turbo Launches, What's The Fate Of The Old Nmax? This Is Yamaha's Answer

JAKARTA - PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Mfg (YIMM) officially launched Nmax Turbo on July 12. This model is the third generation to come with four variants, including one special edition model.

Yamaha Nmax first launched in Indonesia in 2015 and immediately competed with Honda PCX. In the same year, Yamaha also introduced the ABS variant at a more affordable price. Then, in 2016, Yamaha launched a facelift version. In December 2019, the second generation of Yamaha Nmax came with a total change from the previous generation.

With the presence of this third generation, what will happen with the old Nmax?

"We are now focusing on the new Nmax. For the old Nmax, if it is still in the dealer network, we will only spend the remaining stock," said Deputy General Manager of Marketing Communication Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM), Antonius Widiantoro, to the media crew in Cirebon, Thursday, July 25.

When asked if the old Nmax was still being produced, Antonius confirmed that production had been stopped and only spent the remaining stock.

"Yes, it is no longer produced," he added.

For additional information, the 'Turbo' variant of the latest generation of Nmax is sold at a price of IDR 37,750,000, available in the colors of Magma Black and Elixir Dark Silver. The variant above, Nmax 'Turbo' Techmax, is priced at IDR 43,250,000. with a choice of Magma Black color.

For the lowest variant, there is Nmax Neo which is sold for IDR 32.7 million with the choice of colors Dull Blue, Red, Black, and White. On it is Nmax Neo S Version which is priced at IDR 33.7 million with the choice of colors Dull Blue, Red, Black, and White.
