Niu Officially Boyong The Unique Electric Motor XQi3 To The European Market

JAKARTA - Electric motor manufacturer Niu will begin its expansion into the European market starting in the spring of 2024, and will bring the XQi3 model which was introduced at the 2023 EICMA event.

Citing Rideapart, Tuesday, January 9, Niu will offer XQi3 in two off-road model variants called Wild, and a street version called Street makes attractive choices for potential customers.

In terms of performance, XQi3 is powered by mid-driven motorcycles, as should all electric trail motorcycles and power be delivered to the rear wheels.

Niu claims that this electric motor has eight kilowatts of power, or about 10.7 cellphones.

More details, the Street model speed is limited to a top speed of 45 km per hour, while Wild's version gets an Ultra-Boost feature that opens the top speed of 75 kilometers per hour.

While electric motors are placed at the bottom of the aluminum frame, it promises a low center of gravity for maneuverability. In addition to performance, Niu XQi3 is supported by light components that obscure the boundary between e-moto and e-MTB.

Interestingly, various interesting features are also embedded, such as LED lighting, TFT screens with smartphone connectivity and NFC key unlocking, and even a practical USB-C charger. There is even GPS navigation that makes it easy for the trip. To complement all of this, Street versions add sein lights, rearview mirrors, and number plates for a good size.

Speaking of prices, as announced at the launch at the 2023 EICMA, was set at 5,999 euros or around Rp. 101 million. This electric motor will be sold in a variety of colors, and graphics that will allow motorists to find the appropriate design.
