JAKARTA - Ducati Amerika Utara mengumumkan recall atau penarikan kembali untuk model XDiavel S dan STD tahun 2016-2023, disebabkan potensi terbolaknya sandaran penumpang.

It was not XDiavel's first event to experience a recall. This model was previously recalled in 2016-2018 due to the problem of installing the wrong rear wheels.

In a recent investigation, North American Ducati identified six potential related security cases, although no cases were reported in the United States.

In response to this, the official Ducati North American dealer has been given instructions to check the installation of passenger clothing, ensure correct procedures, and check the right tightening. As part of the recall, dealers will also install warning stickers in all XDiavel to provide information to passengers regarding the safe use of clothing.

In the implementation of this recall, Ducati dealers will take several steps to deal with the problem:

On XDiavel which has a dock, the dealer will check the docking condition to determine if there is damage. If it is not damaged, the dock will be re-installed according to the specifications of the Ducati torque.

If there is damage to the dock, the dealer will replace it for free and install it according to Ducati's instructions.

If the dock is not attached to the motorcycle, the owner will be instructed to bring the back to the local Ducati dealer for inspection and installation of warning stickers. If the owner decides to install the backing at a later date, they must take it to the Ducati dealer to ensure the installation is in accordance with the instructions.

In all cases of XDiavel recall, Ducati dealers will put a new warning sticker on their backs, providing information to passengers about the correct use according to Ducati's instructions.
