Honda Electric Motor Secretly Touches TKDN More Than 40 Percent, Prices Can Drop!

JAKARTA - Not much news, it turns out that the electric motorbike from Japanese manufacturers, namely Honda EM1 e, has a Domestic Component Level (TKDN) of more than 40 percent.

From VOI's monitoring on the TKDN page of the Ministry of Industry, it is written that the Honda Honda EM1 e electric motorbike has a TKDN of 40.56 percent, while the Honda EM1 e: Plus TKDN is 40.53 percent.

That way, this electric motor from Honda must have met the standards of motorbikes that received subsidies or government assistance of Rp. 7 million, which at least 40 percent of TKDN.

So will Honda's electric motor get subsidy assistance?

"We are in the process of submitting, yes," Senior Manager of Corporate Communication of PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM), Rina Listiani, when contacted by VOI, Saturday, December 9.

As is known, the Honda EM1 e: which is equipped with an MPP e battery: marketed at a price of around Rp. 40 million - Rp. 45 million. This motorbike will be sold to a Honda motorcycle dealers network which has the Honda e: shop logo. By getting a subsidy, of course, the price of the motorbike will be reduced by Rp. 7 million or only around Rp. 33 million.

For additional information, the electric motor Honda EM1 e: first launched at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS 2023) exhibition, and immediately attracted the attention of many two-wheeled lovers.

Speaking of specifications, this electric motor is equipped with a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 26.1 ah which can cover a distance of 41 km, while the maximum speed is 45 km/hour, with a choice of three colors white, black, and red.

Honda battery charging provides convenience for consumers, where there is a Honda Power Pack Exchanger e: to exchange fully charged batteries. In addition, consumers can charge with a Honda Power Pack Charger e: with a charging time of 2.7 hours (160 minutes) for 25 to 75 percent and 6 hours for 0 to 100 percent.
